Delphi is an area 180 km from Athens with intense tourist traffic, since it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Apart from the archaeological site and the museum, there is the European Cultural Centre and in the wider area a number of Holy Monasteries of religious interest. Also, Delphi is located a short 10 km from Arachova, an important winter destination of Central Greece, and within walking distance from the summer holiday centre of Itea and the traditional settlement of Galaxidi.
